牛车水是本地最容易被想到的地方。优点是摊位多、品种杂、逛起来有气氛。缺点是游客多、价格偏高、仿品也多。

二、加东 / 如切

三、小印度 / 甘榜格南
这两个区域的市集更偏东南亚与伊斯兰文化。如果你关注老银器、旧书、织物、香料，这两处值得走。

- 东南亚杂项——木雕、铜器
价格弹性大，可以适度议价。
四、周末临时市集
本地不定期会有遗产清理专场或车库拍卖。这类市集通常通过本地社群、Facebook 群组或口碑传播，宣传不一定大。
特点：
- 价格往往较低，因为卖家只想尽快处理
- 物品良莠不齐，需要眼力
- 好货出现概率不低，但要早到
五、市集淘货的几条经验
- 早到：开市前 15 分钟到场，先扫一遍再回头细看

2. Katong / Joo Chiat
Older neighbourhoods, more local collectors, quieter atmosphere, more honest pricing.

3. Little India / Kampong Glam
Stronger SE-Asian and Islamic cultural flavour. Worth a look for old silver, books, textiles, and spices.

- Old books, manuscripts, stamps
- SE-Asian misc — wood, bronze
Pricing is flexible — bargaining is expected.
4. Weekend pop-ups
Estate sales and garage auctions appear irregularly, often circulated through community groups. Prices tend to be low; quality varies. Good finds are possible if you arrive early.

- Bring tools — loupe, torch, tape measure, wet wipes
- Look first, buy second — one full loop before deciding
